The Fordbank is a family run Country House Hotel & Restaurant nestled in the Galloway countryside.

We offer luxury en-suite accommodation alongside our traditional Scottish restaurant.

Located adjacent to Wigtown, Scotland¡¯s National Book Town, we are perfectly situated for experiencing local country activities including walking, fishing, shooting.

Fordbank is an ideal location from which to explore Galloway, with the Solway Coast only 10 minutes walk away and the Galloway Hills and Forest Park 15 minutes drive away. Many of the golf courses are open throughout the year and there are also many walks to enjoy in the surrounding area. Relax in traditional comfort, with good food, after an exhilarating day out.

Breakfast: 7:30am - 9am. Earlier times can be arranged to suit.
